Today we had our first meeting at
Noorderpoort headquarters.
Noorderpoort school in this period receives its partners from the USA within the frames of RADIX, a two-week professional and cultural exchange program between the USA and the Netherlands. Four teachers and one HRM worker, from a college comparable to Noorderpoort, are in Groningen visiting Noorderpoort for 2 weeks. The aim of this project is to link and match two counterparts from the two countries with similar job responsibilities.
I joined this group today and we all presented our institutions and the activities we carry out. We also had several discussions on different issues in VET system in the US, Estonia and the Netherlands.

After the meeting we had a bike tour around downtown Groningen and also visited some tourist attractions - Town Hall, Groningen University, Martini Tower and so on.
The first impressions of Groningen - green, clean and definitely biker-friendly city. Amazing infrastructure for bikers and it really works!!!
